David's wild imagination #2
David’s eyes
hasn’t yet accommodated to the dark windowless room. The burning pain in his
chest grew as he screamed for help. Last thing he wanted was another wild
thought crossing his mind in the dark where he wouldn’t even realize what hit
him.
“Shit!” he
breathed, when a loud thump jolted his senses. The pain has grown unbearable as
he felt his chest tearing apart. He raised his left hand to rub his chest, but
he knew something was not right as his chest felt metallic and cold. Before he
could react, his back stiffened. A sharp reflection of long white flash blinded
him as David raised his metallic arm to shield his eyes.
“What the...”
a wave of terror hit him as he realized, half of his body has been transformed
into glaring white metal. His unscratched chest reflected the white light
filling the room as he examined his metallic hand. Trying to move his fingers,
he touched his metallic body which, to his surprise was now reflecting
something he was not prepared to see.
